Your Business Does Not Stop. Neither Does Ours.
Downtime costs money. Every warehouse relocation we plan is built around keeping your operation running — not shutting it down.
The cost of poor planning
Unplanned warehouse downtime costs UK businesses an average of £22,000 per day. A properly managed relocation eliminates that risk entirely.
Out-of-Hours Operations
We work nights, weekends, and bank holidays so your business never misses a trading day.
Phased Move Planning
Complex relocations split into phases — departments move one at a time while operations continue.
Parallel Operations
We set up the new site in parallel while your existing warehouse runs — switchover takes hours, not days.
Dedicated Project Manager
One point of contact, on-site throughout. Coordinates with your operations, facilities, and IT teams.
Our Warehouse Move Process
Five stages. One project manager. Zero surprises.
Discovery
Site Survey & Scoping
We visit both sites — current and new — to assess access, loading bay dimensions, racking layout, and machinery positions.
Planning
Move Plan & Fixed Quote
A phased move plan is produced with timelines, crew requirements, equipment list, and a single fixed-price quote.
Preparation
Pre-Move Labelling & Prep
Our team pre-labels racking, creates floor plans for the new site, and runs a stock-count verification.
Execution
Phased Relocation
Move executed to plan — racking down, stock out, machinery rigged, vehicles loaded and dispatched.
Completion
New Site Set-Up & Sign-Off
Racking rebuilt to layout plan, stock placed to location map, machinery reconnection coordinated.
Warehouse Move Questions
Commercial relocations raise complex operational questions. Here are the answers we give most often.
Minimising downtime is the central challenge of every warehouse move we plan. Our approach includes phased relocation (moving zones one at a time), out-of-hours scheduling (working nights and weekends), and parallel site set-up (racking installed at the new site before final stock transfer). Most clients maintain partial operations throughout.
Yes — racking relocation is one of our core services. We systematically disassemble, label, and transport your existing racking system and reinstall it to your new floor layout. We work with all major racking brands including Dexion, Link 51, Apex, and Constructor.
All warehouse and commercial projects are quoted on a fixed-price basis after a site survey. Hourly rates create open-ended risk for businesses — we remove that risk. Your quote covers crew, vehicles, equipment, and all labour hours.
Yes — out-of-hours moves are standard for warehouse relocations. We operate 24/7, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays. Many clients prefer a Friday-evening start with a target of being operational by Monday morning.
We carry £10 million Public Liability insurance and Goods in Transit cover for commercial moves. For high-value stock or specialist machinery, we recommend you also verify your own insurance covers the move period.
Yes — live-operation moves are complex but we do them regularly. The key is zone-by-zone phasing: we isolate, clear, and move one section at a time while the rest continues to operate.
